You’re invited to the Tour de Force Rally, a Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Social Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) tour rally over scenic paved backroads of Somervell County and Hood County. The rally starts and ends at Motorsport Ranch (MSR), in Cresson, Texas. All entrants are welcome. No prior rally experience is necessary. A precision driving event at fun speeds. This is not a speed or racing contest. Your goal is to follow the rally route using written route instructions and arrive at each checkpoint at precisely the correct time. We will score you on how close to the perfect time you arrive. There are 40 timing checkpoints in about 70 miles of rally route. We will use the Richta Competitor app for timing and scoring.
We plan to conduct a virtual Rally School via Zoom (currently scheduled for March 29th) to help prepare for the rally (for details and to pre-register for the School, go to https://msreg.com/TFR26RSmsr ).

If you signed up or are planning to sign up for the Tour de Force Rally (April 4 th ), or if you just want to learn about Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) rallies and the Richta smart phone app that we will be using for timing of the rally, then we invite you to a short Rally School. John Poulos, Rallymaster for the Tour de Force Rally, will be your instructor. When you register, we will send information on how to download the app. Rally School Day is Sunday, March 29 th . The “classroom” instruction will be conducted via Zoom session. Class begins at 1:00 pm and should run for about an hour and a half, including time for Q&A. We will send out the Zoom session invite a day or two ahead of the Rally School. Follow-up questions after the event should be directed to John Poulos, who will compile them and post and/or distribute answers to all entrants. For those who can’t join the live session, we plan to record the Zoom session and post a YouTube video as well and will share information on how to access it after the Rally School. There is no charge for this event. You must pre-register. Registration is per individual, not per team/car. To pre-register, follow this link to MotorsportReg.com: https://msreg.com/TFR26RSmsr . To keep track of who attended and any follow-ups, please register each individual attendee if possible.
Note: if you plan to register for the Tour de Force Rally (https://msreg.com/TFR26msr ), we strongly urge you to do so early and in time to also attend this Rally School and/or view the recorded session.
