Mechanical Flag

The Yellow Caution Flag can have different meanings:

 

YELLOW FLAG: In general means NO PASSING and SLOW DOWN, be prepared to stop!

WAVING YELLOW: Indicates ON-TRACK DANGER AHEAD.

STEADY YELLOW: Indicates DANGER AHEAD producing yellow is OFF-TRACK.

DOUBLE YELLOWS (Held Stationary): Indicates a "Full Course" Yellow (The entire course is under caution) and the Safety Car MAY be employed.
