This is your personal invitation to the
State Fair Classic Corral at the 2006 State Fair of
Texas!!!

The State Fair Classic
Corral is an excellent opportunity for the Texas Region Sports Car Club of America to
demonstrate what SCCA stands for and how joining the SCCA will allow a person to
become part of the exciting world of auto racing. Come on down, show the crowd your racing
machine and join the fun at
the Texas State Fair!
The SCCA
Classic Corral at the State Fair of Texas is Sunday October 22, 2006.
This is an opportunity for your race team to get some excellent exposure and you can have
fun at the State Fair
at the same time!

Our display must be setup by
10am, so everyone should be there between 8am and 9am
Sunday morning. Coffee and donuts will be available at 8am, so try to get there
early. Once everything is setup, we can divide into two (2) groups so
everyone can have a chance to enjoy the Texas State Fair.
In the middle of the day
everyone can gather at the display for a short meeting, there will also be a group
picture taken at this time. Afterwards the second group can take over and talk
to the passing fairgoers about the Sports Car Club of America.
The State Fair Classic Corral is located
by the Main Gate, at the west end of the Automobile Building, next to the Texas
Vietnam Memorial and across the street from Music Hall. When traveling down
Parry Avenue turn into the First Avenue entrance in front of the fairgrounds.
TOW VEHICLE AND TRAILER PASSES
Passengers, tow vehicle and
trailer are all admitted as one unit, only using ONE (1) VEHICLE PASS for each
group to enter! This ONE PASS admits EVERYONE IN YOUR VEHICLE!
Pack the family into your tow
vehicle and everyone gets in using this ONE VEHICLE PASS. You can drop your
RACER off at the CLASSIC CORRAL and take your trailer and tow vehicle into the fairgrounds
through the
Grand Avenue entrance.
MEMBER PASSES
There are INDIVIDUAL
PASSES for members that do not have a racecar to display but just want to go and
have fun at the State
Fair of Texas!
This is a FREE
one-day opportunity from 10am to 7pm for the Sports Car Club of
America only. Our racecars must REMAIN in the Classic Corral until 6pm
and then must be REMOVED from the Classic Corral by 7:30pm.
