The Texas Region SCCA Annual Awards Banquet was held January 28th, 2012 at the Hilton Arlington.  It was a great event with an excellent guest speaker, Jacques Grelley. (Pictured Above)

Jacques Grelley has had many motorsports adventures and he shared some of them with the membership.  He is a world traveler and he takes his cars with him.  He has been around motorsports since he was a kid and he can tell you stories about the golden days of racing before seat belts.

After Grelley's presentation the club presented the 2011 competition awards.  Phil Adams lead the awards with announcements about the Club Racing program. Robey Clark presented the Race awards. Following the race group was Brad Maxcy presenting the Solo Champion awards. The "Cone Killer" award went to Chris Ledbetter. Remember to remind him during the 2012 season. Sasha Lanze the ARE of Rally presented the Rally Championship awards. Rally had another good year and are looking forward to the 2012 season.
